Manager / Senior Manager, Registrar's Office

About the role

The Registrar's Office at the Singapore Institute of Technology supports students, faculty and alumni and acts as secretariat to the Board of Studies, the Board of Examiners and the Board of Discipline and Appeals. This fixed-term position leads a team to run graduation processes, awards administration and Convocation activities accurately, on time and in compliance, while improving service quality through process redesign and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution of Convocation ceremonies and ensure operational readiness through project planning and stakeholder coordination.
• Review operating models and implement practices that improve service delivery.
• Drive process redesign and workflow optimisation using automation, AI and digital solutions.
• Ensure graduation processes and awards administration are completed accurately and on time, in line with institutional policy.
• Oversee procurement, vendor management and contract administration.
• Review and manage learner requests and appeals related to graduation and awards.
• Monitor service standards, optimise resources and develop risk mitigation and business continuity strategies.
• Oversee divisional administration, including budgeting and staff training, and support university events and other projects as assigned.

Required profile

• A recognised degree in any discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an institute of higher learning.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.
• Prior experience in stakeholder management, event planning and procurement is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
