Manager/Senior Manager – Compliance Audit (GST Division)

About the role

Join the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) as a Manager or Senior Manager in the GST Division, where you will lead compliance audit initiatives to strengthen tax compliance and improve the taxpayer experience. You will apply your GST expertise and analytical skills to identify high‑risk taxpayers, conduct audits, and shape policy and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Use data analytics to pinpoint high‑risk GST taxpayers and perform compliance audits.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Provide expert rulings on GST laws and interpret policy implications.
• Review and benchmark tax rules against international best practices.
• Drive process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance compliance efficiency.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, applying technologies such as RPA, data analytics, and behavioural insights.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Business.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and GST regulations.
• Strong analytical, logical, and systematic thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Resourceful and capable of working independently.
