Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead and develop a team of wafer‑fab operators and technicians, ensuring daily production targets are met while continuously improving safety, quality, and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and train wafer‑fab operators and technicians in day‑to‑day operations.
• Optimize work‑in‑process (WIP) management to maximize throughput and linearity.
• Allocate manpower efficiently and plan training to increase shift flexibility.
• Collaborate with specialists to gather performance feedback and identify improvement areas.
• Identify human‑error risks and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Present daily production indices and prioritize engineering focus.
• Resolve line‑related and preventive‑maintenance issues, understanding equipment constraints.
• Ensure safety, discipline, housekeeping, and data‑integrity compliance.
• Work with IE and Engineering teams to keep capacity models accurate.
• Drive quality and productivity improvement projects and contribute to cross‑module/fab initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
• Highly driven, resourceful, with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
