About the role

Fong Lee Metal is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer on a full-time basis. The role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, supporting production operations and ensuring customer requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements and best practices.
Create standard engineering and production work procedures and instructions.
Plan process workflows and analyse production data and trends to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Support production so that operations run smoothly and customer requirements are met.
Investigate non-conformance root causes and suggest corrective actions.
Coach and train machinists on work procedures and instructions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Good knowledge of manufacturing best practices.
Strong investigation and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

Ability to interpret BOMs and technical drawings.
Good knowledge of relevant product standards, technical standards and codes.
