Manufacturing Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to provide sustaining engineering support for CNC assembly processes and drive continuous improvement across our production lines. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality, efficiency and compliance with ISO and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sustaining engineering support to CNC machinery assembly processes.
• Support manufacturing and assembly process improvements and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Conduct failure analysis and cost‑reduction activities.
• Design and prepare fixtures and tooling for production use.
• Set up and maintain Bill of Materials and process routing in SAP.
• Prepare process manuals and check sheets for production.
• Improve key performance indicators such as quality, waste and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, regulatory and housekeeping requirements.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to meet common goals.
• Design equipment and system layouts for plant facilities.
• Support new product introduction and product transfer to China and India.
• Follow workplace safety and health procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D design software.
• Knowledge of SAP (advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
