Manufacturing Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager leads the development and execution of production activities to achieve target output, quality, and cost objectives. This role oversees multiple production cells, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on‑time delivery while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Direct production cells focusing on operational excellence, safety, resource planning, productivity, yield, 5S, OTD and product quality.
• Collaborate with supervisors to analyse issues, adjust schedules, and meet budgetary and performance targets.
• Provide technical leadership on manufacturing processes, manage work‑in‑progress, and control material releases.
• Estimate manpower needs, assign work, and oversee staffing, training and performance evaluations.
• Develop weekly production plans, capacity forecasts and respond to customer demand ramps.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste, cost, errors and enhance safety and quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing management experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven ability to make independent decisions, manage budgets and capital expenditures.
• Strong people‑management skills with experience leading teams of 180+ staff.
• Excellent time‑management, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
