Manufacturing Operations Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will lead a team responsible for the assembly, inspection, testing and final testing of capital equipment and subsystems used in semiconductor and display manufacturing. This role ensures production schedules are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees across production functions such as assembly, inspection, test and final test.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and material requirements.
• Participate in operational meetings and track organization performance metrics.
• Schedule and conduct milestone meetings, driving cycle‑time improvements and other key metrics.
• Respond promptly to operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and manage cost‑of‑quality analyses.
• Oversee employee safety, ensuring all staff receive required Environmental, Health and Safety training and comply with safety policies.
• Develop personnel through training, career development and performance‑management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production or operations teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to prioritize schedules, manage capacity and drive performance metrics.
• Strong focus on safety compliance and employee development.
• Experience handling customer and vendor requirements and conducting cost‑of‑quality analysis.
