Manufacturing Operator – Salts Production

About the role

The Manufacturing Operator will execute the production plan for salts and dry‑part concentrates, operating assigned processing and packaging equipment while ensuring product quality, safety and efficiency. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position based on site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate processing and packaging equipment according to SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Perform cleaning, sanitation and basic maintenance of equipment, including dust‑collection systems.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Move raw materials and batch concentrates using fork trucks or pallet stackers.
• Execute product and package change‑overs and record transactions in SAP.
• Apply 5S, Kaizen and visual‑management practices to maintain a tidy work area.
• Adhere to health, safety and chemical‑storage procedures at all times.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• NITEC certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in the food & beverage manufacturing sector.
• Basic working knowledge of production operations and equipment.

Required skills

• Operation of processing and packaging equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• Fork truck or pallet‑stacker operation.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and email proficiency.
• SAP application usage (advantage).
• 5S methodology knowledge (advantage).
• Understanding of GMP and food‑safety practices.
