Manufacturing Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support daily production operations on a main line that may include several sub‑assembly processes. The role involves meeting quantity targets, ensuring product quality, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve daily production quantity targets in line with the production plan and work‑instruction quality requirements.
• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor or line 2IC in managing the main production line and its sub‑assembly processes.
• Participate in multi‑skill training and provide on‑the‑job training to new technicians.
• Recommend and implement solutions to improve productivity and product quality.
• Collect and compile quality data for filing and engineering studies.
• Control production materials, perform material cycle counts, and support inventory accuracy.
• Initiate and take part in workplace safety, 5S, and environmentally friendly activities.
• Recommend cost‑effective RMA rework options.
• Troubleshoot testing fallout instruments and evaluate parts as required by engineering.
