Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. You will contribute to the production of cutting‑edge semiconductor and advanced‑display technologies used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair or test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs on sub‑assemblies and components.
• Receive parts, conduct audits, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assembly performance.
• Document progress, labor and expense data; execute computer programming, software installs or repairs as required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and act as an informal resource for junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow technical documentation such as schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail for part inspection and audit activities.
• Capability to work autonomously in a cleanroom setting.
