Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician works hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, testing and repairing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role supports the production of semiconductor and advanced display technologies used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair or test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Complete required documentation, including data entry on progress, labor and expenses.
• Execute computer programming, software installations or repairs when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display equipment manufacturing, or a comparable background.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision in a cleanroom setting.
