Manufacturing Technician - Semiconductor

About the role

Micron is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will help ensure products move efficiently through production while maintaining quality, safety and operational excellence, working closely with production, engineering, quality and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and production workflow.
• Monitor product movement and production status.
• Execute operational procedures according to defined work instructions.
• Escalate process abnormalities and production issues promptly.
• Perform data collection and basic analysis to support manufacturing improvement.
• Support yield, productivity and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Use approved digital and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and support data-driven decisions.

Required profile

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Manufacturing Technology or a related discipline.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Preferred: internship exposure in manufacturing environments.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Basic analytical skills and data interpretation.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset, good communication, teamwork and willingness to learn.
• Preferred: familiarity with data analysis tools and basic AI and digital literacy.
