Marketing Specialist – Digital & Chinese Social Media Focus

About the role

The Marketing Specialist will design and execute digital marketing strategies across global and Chinese platforms to boost brand awareness, engage diverse audiences, and generate qualified leads. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee content creation for social media, blogs, websites, and email campaigns.
• Lead the company’s presence on Chinese platforms such as WeChat Official Accounts, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, and Douyin (TikTok).
• Conduct competitor and audience research, analyse performance data, and refine targeting strategies.
• Develop and manage lead‑generation funnels, track effectiveness, and optimise conversion rates.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and management teams to align messaging across all channels.
• Implement platform‑specific growth tactics to increase audience size and engagement.

Required profile

• 0‑5 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social‑media management.
• Proven track record of running multi‑channel campaigns on both international and Chinese digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of Chinese social‑media ecosystems and their role in audience engagement and lead generation.
• Proficiency in social‑media advertising and data‑driven optimisation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and regions.
• Familiarity with the tech or property industry is a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Experience in B2B and B2C digital marketing and lead generation.
