Material Controller – IWMF Project Tuas Nexus

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Material Controller to join the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project at Tuas Nexus, Singapore. The role is a 1‑year full‑time contract and is critical for managing material flow and inventory throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage material flow from procurement to delivery and storage for the IWMF project.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track quantities, locations and movements.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Liaise with procurement, logistics and project teams to guarantee timely material availability and resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Oversee receiving, inspection, storage and issuance of materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as material requisitions, goods receipt notes and inventory reports.
• Utilise SAP Materials Management for data entry, reporting and transaction processing.
• Identify and report potential material shortages, surpluses or damages.
• Ensure proper handling and storage practices to prevent damage or loss.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of material management processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in material control, inventory management or logistics, preferably on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in SAP Materials Management module is mandatory.
