Material Planner – Manufacturing Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Material Planner to support production schedules for a global manufacturing leader operating across electronics, automotive and industrial sectors. The role ensures material availability, optimises inventory levels and collaborates with internal teams and suppliers to maintain a smooth supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor material requirements in line with production plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, stores, production and customer service to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Manage inventory to minimise shortages, excess stock and obsolescence.
• Track supplier deliveries, resolve supply issues and maintain accurate MRP/ERP data.
• Analyse material usage, inventory trends and supplier performance.
• Prepare regular inventory and procurement reports.
• Work with stakeholders to improve supply‑chain efficiency and continuity.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Inventory Management or related field.
• Experience in material planning, inventory control, purchasing or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and inventory management processes.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
