Materials Planner 2

About the role

The Materials Planner 2 will support the Customer Support Business Group by ensuring that the region has the right materials and parts to serve customers efficiently. You will work closely with the Account team and corporate functions to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Account team to understand demand drivers and set appropriate stocking and replenishment levels.
• Represent the region to corporate teams to secure required inventory resources.
• Collaborate with external customers, internal account teams, and field service personnel to define replenishment processes, issue/receipt procedures, and inventory control policies.
• Oversee inventory management, define optimal inventory levels, eliminate obsolete or off‑spec material, and reduce aging stock.
• Develop and maintain part‑by‑part usage plans and update SAP for forecasting.
• Create and enforce business processes and workflows that enable efficient operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in materials planning or inventory management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with challenging partners.
• Proficient oral and written English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP (advantageous).
