Materials Program Manager I

About the role

We are seeking a Materials Program Manager I to join our Singapore team. The role will coordinate material flow across functions, ensuring visibility of current and future material issues and supporting our materials strategy in the fast‑growing semiconductor sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with planners to monitor material availability and forecast potential issues.
• Partner with production managers to align material supply with critical production schedules.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP systems to minimise inventory exposure.
• Work with engineering to identify critical, long‑lead, and inspection‑required parts.
• Develop supplier and commodity roadmaps, perform material risk BOM analysis, and propose risk‑buy or consignment strategies.
• Support burst‑demand requests by assessing BOM lead‑times and supplier capacity.
• Lead cross‑functional tiger teams to address long‑term supplier performance and supply‑chain mitigation plans.
• Provide inputs for supplier selection, track KPIs, and generate reports for regional meetings.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on material risk and inventory optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive issue resolution.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to risk management.

Required skills

• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis and supply‑chain risk assessment.
• Familiarity with supplier road‑mapping and consignment strategies.
