Production Associate

About the role

The Production Associate supports the manufacturing floor by managing and assisting with a range of production activities, from assembly and material shaping to packaging and logistics. You will work closely with the production team to ensure speed, quality, and cost targets are consistently met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing production activities such as assembly, material forming, processing, treating, and packaging.
• Plan, direct, and monitor production to meet specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste, and quality standards.
• Prioritize and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimise disruptions.
• Support daily warehouse operations and logistics, including inbound consignment handling.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate documentation and labeling for all machinery.
• Oversee safe crating and packaging of equipment for transit.
• Utilise EFACS/SAP ERP systems to track inventory and logistics data.
• Assist with junior engineering tasks and cross‑train in quality‑control inspections.
• Set up and configure computer systems from scratch where required.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or junior candidate with a strong interest in manufacturing and logistics.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Experience or familiarity with SAP ERP.
• Experience or familiarity with EFACS ERP.
• Knowledge of computer system assembly and configuration.
• Basic understanding of quality‑control inspection procedures.
