Materials Program Manager I

About the role

UCT is seeking a Materials Program Manager I to join its Singapore team. You will act as the central point for material flow, visibility, and risk mitigation across multiple functions, supporting the company’s semiconductor manufacturing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with planners to monitor current and future material issues.
• Partner with production managers to align material supply with critical production schedules.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimise inventory exposure.
• Work with engineering to identify critical, long‑lead, and inspection‑required parts.
• Develop supplier and commodity roadmaps, perform material risk BOM analysis, and drive lead‑time reduction initiatives.
• Lead internal tiger teams to resolve long‑term supplier issues and improve performance.
• Provide inputs for supplier selection, assess system need dates, and propose optimized supply‑planning solutions.
• Track KPIs, generate reports and presentations, and support material health reporting to customers.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on material risk and supply‑chain visibility.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across engineering, production, and supply‑chain functions.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive proactive mitigation plans.
