Materials Program Manager I

About the role

UCT is seeking a Materials Program Manager I to join its Singapore team. You will act as the central point for material flow, ensuring visibility of current and future material issues and supporting the overall materials strategy across the semiconductor supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with planners to monitor and communicate material availability and potential risks.
• Partner with production managers to align material supply with critical production schedules.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP systems to minimize inventory exposure.
• Work with engineering to identify critical, long‑lead, and inspection‑required parts.
• Develop supplier and commodity roadmaps, perform material risk BOM analysis, and recommend risk‑buy or consignment options.
• Lead cross‑functional tiger teams to resolve long‑term supplier issues and improve performance.
• Provide inputs for supplier selection, assess system need dates, and drive clear‑to‑build (CTB) activities for pre‑production phases.
• Track KPIs, generate reports, and present material health updates to regional meetings.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on material risk and supply‑chain visibility.
• Excellent collaboration skills across planning, production, engineering, and supply‑chain functions.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive issue resolution.
