M&E Coordinator – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination and monitoring of mechanical and electrical works across our construction projects in Singapore. The role ensures that all M&E activities align with project schedules, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain M&E work schedules that integrate with the overall project master schedule.
• Review shop drawings and material submissions for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Verify M&E drawings against authority requirements to secure approvals and avoid delays.
• Identify and report conflicts between M&E, architectural and structural drawings.
• Prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting critical issues.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Monitor on‑site installation, conduct inspections and testing, and document results.
• Follow up on rectifications and ensure all work meets project standards.
• Guide and supervise M&E supervisors to ensure execution according to coordinated plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Recognised diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
