M&E Coordinator – Construction Projects

About the role

The M&E Coordinator will support the delivery of construction projects by managing mechanical and electrical (M&E) activities on‑site. Working closely with the main contractor, subcontractors and consultants, you will ensure installations meet quality, safety and design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily M&E works on‑site, monitor installation accuracy, quality and compliance, and report design clashes.
• Review and control M&E drawings, shop drawings and technical submissions; maintain revision records and assist in preparing method statements and inspection checklists.
• Support testing, inspection and commissioning activities, liaise with consultants and authorities, and prepare testing reports and hand‑over documentation.
• Track M&E progress, report delays or risks, facilitate coordination meetings and manage material deliveries with suppliers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on M&E coordination experience in construction projects.
