M&E Designer / Drafter

About the role

We are looking for a motivated M&E Designer/Drafter to create accurate 3D models and 2D detail drawings for mechanical and electrical services. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all drawings meet relevant standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and produce 2D detail, shop, and as‑built drawings according to drawing standards.
• Coordinate M&E service drawings with structural, architectural, landscape, and interior design disciplines.
• Prepare drawings independently, review your own work before submission, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Update and manage current drawing sets and related documentation.
• Communicate ideas and issues to the team both verbally and in writing.

Required profile

• Minimum Engineering Diploma or equivalent, with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background.
• Ability to work independently, stay self‑motivated, and deliver under pressure.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 2D & 3D AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit and BIM tools (desirable).
• Familiarity with local building codes, submission procedures, and ISO drafting standards.
