M&E Engineer

About the role

JLL is hiring an on-site M&E Engineer in Singapore. The role covers preventive maintenance, quality control and supervision of technical services, working closely with the building manager to deliver M&E projects on time and to hit financial targets and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold high standards in preventive maintenance programs and conservation practices.
• Monitor M&E projects with the building manager for quality and timely delivery.
• Deliver complete and accurate facility management reports.
• Carry out regular inspections, quality control and supervision of technicians and sub-contractors.
• Provide facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client.
• Act as the initial first responder for 24-hour emergency support.
• Manage on-site mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations and civil maintenance.
• Prepare critical spares lists based on manufacturer recommendations and plan the maintenance inventory for in-house teams.
• Develop and run a pre-emptive maintenance program and keep logbooks, checklists and schedules up to date.
• Provide engineering assessments to troubleshoot problems and arrange ad-hoc M&E setups for the client.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in engineering, ideally electrical or mechanical.
• Three to seven years of experience in facilities management.
• Ability to work in a diverse team, in a leadership capacity and as an individual contributor.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IBMS/BMS alarm management and maintenance modules is an added advantage.
