Mechanic – Equipment Maintenance & Repair

About the role

TDW is looking for a skilled Mechanic to clean, inspect, repair and test both TDW service equipment and customer equipment. The role ensures that all equipment is free from damage or wear before it is shipped to job sites, supporting safe and reliable pipeline operations.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, repair and test equipment in accordance with quality‑assurance procedures.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including proper packaging, loading and job setup for HT&P equipment.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and uphold TDW safety standards.
• Keep accurate maintenance records in the FSA system.
• Verify that state tags and marks on incoming and outgoing equipment meet TDW compliance.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational certification in automation, mechanics or electronics.
• At least three years of hands‑on experience repairing TDW service equipment or equivalent experience.
• Completion of MAP assessment certification.
• Fluent in English; French or Spanish required depending on location.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors and control valves.
• Understanding of hydraulics and general mechanics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with service automation software.
