Mechanic – Large Diameter Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance of large‑diameter (18" and above) AP HT&P and Pipeline Services equipment. Working primarily in a Singapore workshop, you will ensure equipment is clean, inspected, repaired and tested to the highest TDW and ISO standards before delivery to job sites.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, repair and test large‑diameter equipment, documenting all actions in GSRS maintenance records.
• Order and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely availability of components.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to service‑center mechanics across the FEAP region.
• Conduct regular technical audits of local workshops and enforce 5S and TDW compliance.
• Coordinate upgrades, subcontractor work, and ensure equipment is ready for shipment, including packaging and documentation.
• Store, test, and prepare equipment and tools for shipping, handling loading and scheduling.

Required profile

• Diploma in mechanics or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with TDW Services equipment is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems (pumps, motors, control valves) and ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to work autonomously, travel frequently and handle heavy lifting and rigging tasks.
• Basic proficiency with Windows applications (Word, Excel, Access).
