Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

CAI is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to lead all mechanical commissioning and testing activities for client sites. You will guide projects from initial engagement through hand‑over, ensuring safety and compliance while coordinating contractors and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and steer mechanical commissioning and testing according to the agreed Scope of Works.
• Act as the on‑site technical lead, gathering information from equipment vendors, clients, contractors, and site owners.
• Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings to provide expert technical advice.
• Ensure all required certifications and documentation are obtained and approved for commissioning.
• Review design documents (BoD, OPR, mechanical drawings, schematics) and approve them for commissioning use.
• Develop, review, and obtain approval for test scripts, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or Factory Witness Tests (FWT).

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical commissioning and on‑site project leadership.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage project schedules.
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing technical documentation.
