Mechanical Engineer – Building Services (Singapore)

About the role

Beca is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Centre of Excellence (CenEx) team in Singapore. You will work on building services projects, applying your design and problem‑solving skills to deliver high‑quality mechanical solutions for diverse clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial mechanical services detailed design, including calculations and computer simulations, under senior engineer supervision.
• Prepare and submit design documentation to authorities for approval.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, project managers and multidisciplinary consultants.
• Attend site meetings and inspections, responding to technical queries.
• Liaise with authorities to ensure compliance of submitted plans.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services).
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and meet schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player capable of collaborating with colleagues and external consultants.
