Mechanical Engineer – Debug, Installation, AWS & VB

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our project team in Singapore. You will be responsible for assembling, debugging, and installing machine stations, ensuring they meet project specifications and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, debug, and install machine stations according to project requirements.
• Perform pre‑alignment of stations under guidance from the Manufacturing Manager.
• Operate machines during the debugging phase under supervision.
• Follow prioritisation directions from the Project Manager.
• Deliver technical training to customers on mechanical hardware, pneumatics, change‑over procedures, critical setup/alignment and preventive maintenance.
• Support installation and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation required for project deliverables.
• Ensure pallet and critical station tasks are completed within budget and timeline.
• Collaborate with fellow Project Engineers to streamline processes and resolve technical challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITE in Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in automation or machine‑building environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and assembly capabilities.
• Ability to travel when necessary.
