Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Join Aurecon’s Singapore Buildings business as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects. You will work alongside highly skilled specialists to turn innovative ideas into reality while supporting sustainable and energy‑efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support projects from initial scoping through detailed design, commissioning and handover across various building and infrastructure assignments.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Participate in tender preparation and client negotiations to achieve commercially profitable outcomes.
• Engage directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project results.
• Provide consultancy advice leveraging Aurecon’s engineering expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interest in building services and sustainable design; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pro‑active attitude with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and business acumen.

Required skills

• Building mechanical design within a consulting environment (advantageous).
• High computer literacy with exposure to BIM and Revit.
• Advanced problem‑solving through investigation and analysis.
