Mechanical Engineer – Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will design, review and optimise mechanical systems and equipment for offshore oil and gas operations, ensuring reliability, safety and performance. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Singapore and supports the entire project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update engineering drawings and 3D models for offshore equipment.
• Perform technical calculations and assist in equipment selection.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams on design and implementation.
• Support installation, commissioning and troubleshooting activities on site and offshore.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards and company quality procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in mechanical design for Oil & Gas, EPC or FPSO projects.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for 2D and 3D modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site visits, inspections or offshore assignments.
