About the role
This part-time, on-site position is for a Mechanical Engineer based in Singapore, working closely with faculty and student researchers. You will contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems and structures across various research projects, ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop machine designs and mechanical components using CAD software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams to define project requirements.
- Perform detailed analyses and prototype testing to validate designs.
- Support project management activities, tracking timelines and milestones.
- Document design specifications and maintain project records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in research-focused environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
