Mechanical Engineer – Project & Tender Support

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support project and tender activities, assist senior engineers, and ensure quality throughout the construction phase. The role combines technical assistance, documentation, and on‑site quality assurance in a dynamic construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans, schedules, daily progress reports, site diaries and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and vendors during tender and construction phases.
• Assist senior engineers in engineering calculations, drawings, equipment selection and specification.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks and support testing & commissioning activities.
• Develop method statements, quality‑assurance processes and operational/maintenance manuals for handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems and design principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably AutoCAD.
