Mechanical Engineer – SolidWorks – Woodlands

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Woodlands facility. The role focuses on supporting product development, validation, and continuous improvement using SolidWorks. You will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Study and analyse customer design requirements, specifications, and feasibility.
• Perform product validation against design specifications and customer requirements.
• Create and modify 3D/2D drawings for new and existing parts.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) builds for new product introductions.
• Review and implement new production routers released by the Engineering department.
• Lead projects aimed at process and cycle‑time improvements.
• Update production routers, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve process shortcomings.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Orders with production, planning, and purchasing.
• Support QA in failure analysis, corrective actions, and audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Post‑Graduate Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
