About the role

Dematic, part of KION Group, is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join its Singapore office from January to June 2027. The intern works in the Mechanical Engineering department, gaining practical skills through on-the-job training and mentoring while working closely with the Mechanical Engineers on projects in the material handling industry.

Key responsibilities

Design automation systems
Generate CAD drawings
Specify equipment and services
Prepare technical documentation
Carry out on-site commissioning, if required

Required profile

Pursuing a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
Ability to read 2D drawings
Commitment to a six-month placement from January to May/June 2027

Required skills

Knowledge of AutoCAD
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
