Merchant Assessment Officer (Contract)

About the role

The NETS Group is a payments services group that enables digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the payments value chain, including Singapore's national debit scheme. The AML Team, part of the Customer Service and Operations division, carries out AML/KYC screening and credit assessments on new and existing merchants. As a Merchant Assessment Officer on a contract basis, you will maintain the AML/KYC screening and records daily and report to the AML Team Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ongoing monitoring of alerts as part of AML/KYC notifications
• Identify process improvements
• Conduct daily business-as-usual assessments, periodic reviews and analysis of new and existing merchant profiles (AML/KYC and credit risk) within SLA
• Work with stakeholders during merchant onboarding

Required profile

• Minimum Higher Nitec, GCE "A" Level or Diploma holder
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Meticulous, able to work under tight deadlines, conscientious and a team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Required skills

• Experience in AML/KYC processing, risk assessment and review is an advantage
