MICE Sales Manager / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Manager or Assistant Manager to drive sales growth within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) segment. The role focuses on developing targeted strategies, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our market presence across attractions, hotels, and MICE partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and implement targeted sales strategies to optimise revenue from attractions, hotels and MICE partnerships.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate accounts and MICE organisers.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate leads and convert them into sales.
• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends, competitor activities and growth opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, track KPIs and produce regular reports for management.
• Lead contract negotiations, manage agreements and ensure timely follow‑up to close sales.
• Plan and conduct scheduled meetings with clients, partners and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma with strong commercial acumen.
• At least 2‑3 years of sales or commercial experience.
• Strong knowledge of the MICE or tourism industry (advantage).
• IT‑savvy and digitally versatile.
• Team player able to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly numerate, adaptable and goals‑driven.
• Open to travel.
