Micro Frontend (MFE) Developer – Global Markets Technology

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Micro Frontend (MFE) Developer to build and modernize front‑end applications supporting Global Markets and Capital Markets platforms. The role works closely with Java micro‑services to deliver scalable, high‑performance, responsive applications for trading and market users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Micro Frontend architecture for Global Markets applications.
• Build modern, reusable, high‑performance UI components using React or Angular with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Integrate front‑end applications with Java/Spring Boot micro‑services via REST APIs and event‑driven services.
• Develop dashboards, workflows and real‑time interfaces for trading, pricing, risk, positions, P&L and market data.
• Collaborate with traders, business analysts, architects and backend developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure applications meet banking standards for performance, security, scalability, resilience and auditability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, production deployment and troubleshooting.

Required skills

• Micro Frontend (MFE) development and architecture.
• React or Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Integration with REST APIs, WebSockets and event‑driven services.
• Module Federation, reusable component libraries and modern front‑end build frameworks.
• Git, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience building high‑volume, low‑latency or real‑time enterprise applications.
• Application security, authentication and authorization.
