Mid-Senior Petrochemical Professionals

About the role

Hire Resolve is helping petrochemical organisations hire experienced professionals to support refinery, chemical and downstream manufacturing operations in Singapore. This is a multi-role opportunity covering plant operations, process and project engineering, reliability and maintenance, EHS and process safety, quality, supply chain and commercial/technical services, with a pathway toward senior leadership roles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient plant operations across continuous and batch processes, utilities and supporting units
• Drive process optimisation, debottlenecking, yield improvement, energy efficiency and cost reduction
• Support or lead capital projects from scope definition through execution, commissioning and handover
• Maintain technical documentation and manage change practices (P&IDs, SOPs, operating envelopes, MOC)
• Strengthen asset reliability through preventive/predictive maintenance, RCA, turnaround/shutdown planning and asset integrity programmes
• Ensure compliance with MOM WSH requirements and site EHS systems, and conduct HAZOP/LOPA, incident investigations and contractor management
• Monitor KPIs for safety, production, quality, reliability and budget, and support audits and continuous improvement
• Coach and develop teams through training and competency development

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation, Chemistry or a related discipline
• Typically 7-15+ years of experience in petrochemicals, refining, specialty chemicals, polymers, industrial gases or adjacent process manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience in one or more tracks: operations leadership, process engineering, reliability/maintenance, rotating equipment, EHS/process safety, projects, quality or commercial/technical support
• Working knowledge of Singapore regulatory and safety expectations (MOM WSH, major hazard controls)
• Professional English proficiency and willingness to work onsite in an industrial environment; some roles may involve shifts, on-call rotation or travel

Required skills

• Familiarity with CMMS/EAM (e.g. SAP/Maximo) and process historians (e.g. PI System)
