Middleware Architect – Enterprise Solutions

About the role

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Middleware Architect to join its Singapore team and support the ASEAN region. You will drive adoption of Red Hat solutions across enterprise, government, and service‑provider customers, shaping architecture and delivery for complex integration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of application projects, ensuring alignment with customer business goals and IT strategies.
• Design, review, and validate middleware architectures, integration patterns, and modernization strategies using Red Hat technologies.
• Partner with enterprise customers to promote cloud‑native adoption, microservices, APIs, messaging, and event‑driven architectures.
• Provide technical leadership to consulting teams, mentoring solution architects, consultants, and developers.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CXO‑level and senior IT stakeholders, influencing middleware and integration strategy.
• Collaborate with sales, product engineering, and customer success teams to shape solutions and accelerate adoption.
• Lead workshops, assessments, and proofs‑of‑concept for middleware and integration solutions.
• Advocate open‑source adoption and Red Hat best practices for middleware, application platforms, and DevOps pipelines.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 7 years focused on Red Hat middleware products.
• Proven consulting expertise, including leading small to medium‑sized project teams.
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships at senior levels.
• Demonstrated experience delivering architectural thought leadership and influencing digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
