Module Operations Director (Diffusion/Etch/Litho)

About the role

The Module Operations Director will lead multiple semiconductor fab modules, ensuring optimal performance, high equipment utilization, and continuous improvement across a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directly report to the Plant Director/General Manager and provide strategic leadership for modules such as Photolithography, Etch, Thin Films, CMP, Diffusion, and Implantation.
• Drive OEE, throughput, cycle‑time reduction, line balancing and preventive‑maintenance programs.
• Manage multi‑million‑dollar CapEx and OpEx budgets, vendor SLAs and tool expansion plans.
• Collaborate with Process Integration, Yield and QA teams to resolve process excursions and minimize downtime.
• Mentor section managers, module heads and principal engineers to build a strong leadership pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Materials Science or Physics.
• 15+ years of semiconductor wafer fab experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director or Senior Manager).
