New Product Introduction Engineer - NAND Flash Reliability

About the role

Micron is hiring a New Product Introduction Engineer to drive wafer-level reliability and quality performance for advanced NAND flash products. The role combines data analysis, failure diagnostics and process optimisation, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliability test capabilities, investigate quality issues, support product qualification and improve manufacturing performance and time-to-market.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands-on data visualisation and chart generation (e.g. JMP) and use data processing tools such as Perl and Python
• Develop HTML interfaces for data display
• Apply electrical failure analysis diagnostic skills
• Own Fab reliability performance, define wafer-level reliability sampling plans, run OCAP procedures and bench EFA validation, and work with the fab to meet extrinsic and intrinsic targets
• Develop new Wafer-Level Reliability (WLR) capability as a proxy for backend Unit-Level Reliability (ULR) tests, and improve existing capabilities
• Act as subject matter expert on reliability failure modes and detection, and contribute to quality projects on excursion mitigation
• Deliver corrective and preventive actions for customer quality and product issues
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly and share AI-enabled improvements with colleagues
• Help qualify next-generation NAND flash products and drive timely qualification and time to market

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science
• Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator who collaborates across all levels
• Growth mindset and interest in the semiconductor industry and Micron
• Internship or semiconductor industry experience is a plus; leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
