NTI Process Integration Technical Specialist

About the role

Micron is hiring an NTI Process Integration Technical Specialist to support its Process Integration (PI) engineers in monitoring and improving semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role covers troubleshooting line issues, inspecting wafers, managing lot movements and reporting on process data, and requires shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist PI engineers in coordinating and troubleshooting daily line issues, such as disposition of line deviations and engineering job submissions for analysis.
• Support inline inspection and coordinate non-routine metro/RDA inspection on R&D experiments.
• Support process flow setup for production and the short loop flow.
• Extract, analyse and summarise data from SWR and conversion experiments into reports and recommend actions to engineering.
• Manage wafer shipment logistics between fabs (swap lots and fab-to-fab offloads) for technology transfer and yield learning.
• Monitor and publish regular updates on priority and WIP lot movements.
• Monitor key inline, probe and final parametric indices for deviations and trigger first-level investigations promptly.
• Use Micron's systems (Micron Central, DataNav, SPACE, etc.) to carry out routine operational tasks.
• Contribute to projects that improve STC PI procedures, tools, process capability, yield and quality.
• Help the PI team supervisors manage KPIs such as Global Conversion Process (GCP), SWR and WIP status.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent background.
• Ability to work in shifts and proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to build peer relationships.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot problems, address root causes and escalate appropriately to PI engineering.
• Effective written and verbal communication and basic customer service skills.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of SPC, SWR, QDR, Micron Central and Klarity.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication process areas (Photo, Dry Etch, Diffusion, CVD, Wet Etch, Plating, Implant, PVD, CMP).
• Basic computer language scripting skills are an advantage.
