NTI Process Integration Technician

About the role

Micron is hiring an NTI Process Integration Technician for its Fab 10N/X site. The role supports Process Integration (PI) engineers in monitoring and troubleshooting semiconductor production lines, handling data from experiments and supporting production flow and lot logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist PI engineers in coordinating and troubleshooting daily line issues, such as disposition of line deviations and engineering job submissions for analysis.
• Support inline inspection and coordinate non-routine metro/RDA inspection on R&D experiments.
• Support process flow setup for production and the short loop flow.
• Extract, analyse and summarise data from SWR and conversion experiments in reports and recommend actions to engineering.
• Manage wafer shipment logistics between fabs (swap lots and fab-to-fab offloads) for technology transfer and yield learning.
• Monitor and publish updates on priority and WIP lot movements.
• Monitor key inline, probe and final parametric indices, flagging deviations and triggering first-level investigations.
• Use Micron's systems (Micron Central, DataNav, SPACE, etc.) to carry out routine operational tasks.
• Contribute to improving STC PI procedures, tools, process capability, yield and quality.
• Help the PI team supervisors manage KPIs such as GCP, SWR and WIP status.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent background.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot problems, make sound judgments and escalate to PI engineering when needed.
• Independent work with minimal supervision and effective written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of SPC, SWR, QDR, Micron Central and Klarity.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication processes (Photo, Dry Etch, Diffusion, CVD, Wet Etch, Plating, Implant, PVD, CMP).
• Basic computer language scripting skills are an advantage.
