Observability Solutions Architect

About the role

Join Splunk as an Observability Solutions Architect, leading the technical evaluation stage of the sales process. You will act as the primary advisor on Splunk’s observability and data analytics offerings, working closely with sales, customers, and partners to drive successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Present Splunk products and services through demos, webinars, and industry events.
• Serve as a trusted functional specialist, translating technical capabilities into business value for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Develop tailored solutions by understanding customer challenges and aligning them with Splunk’s portfolio.
• Guide prospects through the technology evaluation phase, answering technical queries and leading proof‑of‑concept or proof‑of‑value engagements.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed, customer‑centric proposals.
• Collaborate with the Unified Engagement Model team to ensure smooth hand‑over and customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
• Partner with marketing to create content and showcase Splunk’s value at events.

Required profile

• Proven presales or technical sales experience in a software vendor environment with measurable results.
• Ability to conduct discovery sessions, understand business goals, and map them to Splunk solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed and eligibility to prioritize Singapore citizens.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the Splunk platform and observability solutions.
• Proficiency in responding to RFPs/RFIs and creating technical proposals.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT technologies.
