System Engineer (Level 1) – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a motivated System Engineer (Level 1) to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, and delivering technical support across production, test, and development environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain servers, operating systems, and infrastructure components; perform routine health checks.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and restore services within agreed SLAs.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, operating systems, middleware, and supporting software; apply patches and security updates.
• Investigate alerts, conduct root‑cause analysis, and document resolutions.
• Support infrastructure changes, deployments, and release activities, including rollback and recovery planning.
• Monitor performance, utilization, and capacity metrics; recommend improvements.
• Implement security controls, ensure compliance, and support vulnerability remediation and access management.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports; collaborate with project teams, application owners, and service delivery teams.
• Identify automation opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Good understanding of system administration concepts and change‑management processes.
