On-site Platform Engineer – Kubernetes & Cloud

About the role

We are looking for an on‑site Platform Engineer based in Singapore to design, implement and manage Kubernetes‑based container orchestration platforms for our telecommunications clients. The role combines development, operations and security expertise to ensure applications are scalable, reliable and secure across on‑prem, hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters on‑premises, as well as managed services such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS and Google GKE.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or Argo CD and apply Infrastructure‑as‑Code principles with Terraform, Helm and related tools.
• Implement observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues and optimise performance.
• Enforce security best practices including RBAC, network policies, vulnerability scanning and secure secrets management.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to streamline deployment workflows and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training on Kubernetes best practices.

• Scripting/Programming: Bash, Python, Go.
• Security concepts: RBAC, network policies, vulnerability scanning, secrets management.
• Preferred certifications: CKA, CKAD, CKS.
