Operations Assistant

About the role

The Salvation Army in Singapore is seeking an Operations Assistant to support its Central Supply Store and transport functions. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, ensure timely distribution of supplies, and provide safe transportation for residents and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory, conduct stock counts, and process replenishment requests for the Central Supply Store.
• Receive, inspect, store goods, and report any discrepancies.
• Prepare items for distribution, maintain accurate stock issuance records, and support stocktaking audits.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with FEFO/FIFO principles.
• Provide reliable transportation for residents, clients, and staff, coordinating with the Medical Escort to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, hygiene, and roadworthiness.
• Assist with loading and unloading donated items and essential supplies.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.
• Valid Class 3 and Class 4 driving licences.
