About the role

We’re looking for a dependable and respectful team member to help with the setup and execution of funeral services. This includes transporting the deceased, preparing service areas, and assisting families and staff as needed. The role requires professionalism, physical stamina, and a compassionate approach during sensitive times.

Key responsibilities

• Transport the deceased with care and dignity to and from funeral homes, service locations, and cemeteries.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment for funeral services (e.g., tents, chairs, podiums).
• Handle caskets, urns, and floral arrangements during services and viewings.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of funeral vehicles and equipment.
• Provide respectful support to families and guests during services.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Work closely with funeral directors and other staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels and above.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
• Possess a valid class 3 driving license.
