Operations Executive – Air Import

About the role

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Operations Executive to join its IFF department and support air import activities. The role focuses on coordinating surveys, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth cargo release for both terminal and A2A shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate surveys between Front Line CS and clearance vendors for terminal and A2A shipments.
• Arrange terminal survey documents, manage survey fees, and organize survey pictures per shipment.
• Submit Letters of Intention, manage shipment notifications, and handle cargo release documents and permits.
• Process import billing and receipts for external agents after cargo release.
• Update cheque utilization listings and communicate with vendors on cold‑room or cargo irregularities.
• Scan and file survey reports, receipts, and claim submissions in the system.
• Follow up on BUP discrepancies, download pictures, and send claim intention notifications.
• Validate and resolve disputes on vendor charges for import shipments.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels.
• 2‑3 years of experience in air import operations.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous and attentive to detail (desirable).

Required skills

• Cargowise (advantageous).
